A truly elevated fine dinning experience with a wow factor. If you're looking at treating that someone special to an amazing experience, the Rockpool Bar and Grill would definitely be the place. The ambience and interior architecture is beautiful, with an open kitchen concept. You can see and smell your food being cooked over fire. The service was attentive and very professional. Wait staff and hostesses were all dressed in suits and looked very well presented. We only ordered mains and sides so we requested everything to come out at the same time. The wait staff advised this would take approximately 50 minutes and asked if that was OK, in which we agreed that was fine. Our reservation was at 6pm and the food was delivered to our table at 6:50pm, so safe to say everything is meticulously prepared. We were a group of 6 and spent just a little under $1000 for all the food posted below. Overall, a very memorable and enjoyable experience. Thank you to the team that worked on Friday 31 July 2026! Loved this place. Came here for dinner with my 12 years old. Setting look quite formal. Service was excellent and servers were attentive. There were tasting menu selection, as well as ala carte. We had a la carte - had ceviche, steak tartare, artichoke and mozzarella for appetizers, rib eye with sides of pumpkin and mashed potatoes for main, and topped it off with smoked ice cream and bonbons for dessert. The steak came with selection of mustards, and you can add extra sauces as well. Great selection of cocktails to complement the drink. Overall a great experience for my taste buds!
We had a fantastic night celebrating birthday here. The atmosphere was cosy and intimate, and the servers were all extremely welcoming and attentive. They also went above and beyond to ensure our dietary requirements were accommodated, even swapping out dishes when needed, which was very much appreciated. The food was all delicious and the entrees and dessert in particular were very creatively presented. The price was also very reasonable considering the quality of the experience, we would very happily come back!
Had my Birthday dinner at Rockpool. Food was great and the cocktails too. But the waiter actually forgot to write down my order considering I was the Birthday Girl ! I was really looking forward to the lobster and the squid ink dishes which sadly never arrived. Considering the price tag I was expecting better service. The seafood is obviously great and if you are a seafood lover like me you can try it but I think for that price range Sydney has far better seafood restaurants to offer. The vibe is posh and the decor is okay. I suppose after living in Doha for 15 years Sydney doesn’t really look very luxurious lol
Tried the prawns and shark bay scallops for entree - both were so good, we can’t choose which one stands out more. For mains, we had the dry-eyed wagyu eye of chuck 200g and the dry-aged hereford sirloin on the bone 400g, each were the perfect size and taste for my partner and I. Pavlova and green mango sorbet were so refreshing to finish the meal!
