Very cosy restaurant with attention to details in every aspect, from glass to plate to dishes. The food is very delicious and also meticulously presented. We went with our 2 kids and here are their comments: I
A lovely and intimate dining experience. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared. The venue is run by a charming couple, one hosting and one in the kitchen. which gives the place a very warm and personal touch. Service can be a little slow at times, but understandably so as everything is handled by just the two of them. Allow around 2–3 hours to fully enjoy the experience without rushing. They also offer a great wine selection. A wonderful spot for a relaxed date night.
Went as a Group of 5, restaurant is very small and only fits 14ppl and restaurants is runned by 2 person team and they had a full house on the night we went. Good points: food was nice, and beautifully presented. Other points: - to start the evening off was discussing menu. Friends had a couple of dietary requirement and usually at restaurants it should easily be substitutable. Instead of being accomodating the waitress gave us a long discussion about how we should have told them about dietary issue upon booking even though she mentioned that menu changes all the time - the restaurant is very stuffy when u initially walk in it smells of dried fish and during the entire dinner the restaurant is poorly ventilated, smoke from cooking literally consumed the room and we walked out smelling like fried meat. Our eyes were also getting teary towards the end as the smoke built up and getting into our eyes - Drinks menu is limited to wine and 2 non-alcoholic drinks, there is a minimum spend of $30per person and if you buy a glass of wine it is $30+\-per glass so if u dont drink wine might not be a place for you to go to. - food took a long time to come out. We spent almost 4hrs for a 7 course menu. For first 3 dishes we had to wait 30mins in between by the end we had to pay first and wait for last dishes as we needed to get back to our car as we overstayed the parking we had paid for.
We had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented, and the portions were just right. You could really tell how much thought went into every dish. The staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely passionate about the food and the overall concept, which made the evening feel even more special. Everything felt thoughtfully done and just… divine. We’ll definitely be back for another lovely evening together.
Absolutely exceptional. My wife and I came here for an anniversary dinner recently having not heard of the restaurant until looking at places to go for this dinner and having it recommended. We were not disappointed. If I wasn't watching it unfold myself I would not believe this was all put together by a two-person team. We got the seven-course menu and all seven items that came out were an absolute treasure. Usually after a meal like this we discuss which dish was our favourite and usually there are one or two standouts. Here all seven meals were so genuinely special and memorable we couldn't rule a single one out. This absolutely compares favourably to any degustation we've had in Sydney and generally a meal of this calibre you'd expect to pay $100 more per person than we did at Le Salle Dining. A lovely experience and we'll most certainly be back.
