Description

Discover the wonders of the Blue Mountains on this intimate small group adventure, designed for up to 10 guests. Travel comfortably from selected Sydney CBD hotels and finish the day with a scenic ferry ride across Sydney Harbour. Begin your journey at Glenbrook, a charming village perfect for a quick coffee and a stretch before the day unfolds. At Echo Point, marvel at the majestic Three Sisters rock formation and take in sweeping views of the Jamison Valley. Learn the fascinating Aboriginal stories behind this iconic landmark while enjoying prime photo opportunities. Next, experience the thrills of Scenic World. Ride the world’s steepest passenger railway, soar above the rainforest on the Skyway, and glide on the gondola while soaking in breathtaking vistas of the Blue Mountains. Stroll along the boardwalks of Katoomba Cascades Waterfalls, where lush foliage surrounds cascading streams. Explore stepping stones and viewing platforms to truly appreciate this serene natural gem. Pause in the picturesque town of Leura, where boutique shops, art galleries, and cafés provide the perfect lunch stop amid tree-lined streets. Lincoln’s Rock Lookout offers a quieter escape with panoramic views of the Megalong Valley. Ideal for a moment of reflection or photography, this lookout showcases the region’s dramatic landscapes without the crowds. The only Blue Mountains small group tours that offer a rare glimpse of approximately 5,000-year-old Aboriginal rock engravings carved into sandstone. Get up close to native wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park. Handfeed kangaroos, meet koalas, and observe wombats and other Australian animals. Capture a digital photo with a koala to remember your wildlife encounter. The day concludes with a relaxing ferry ride back to Sydney, passing under the Harbour Bridge and arriving near the Opera House—a scenic finale to an unforgettable adventure (approximately $6 per person and a 40-minute ride).
