Morning Kick Off We start bright and early from Sydney Central and hit the open road toward Port Stephens. Halfway there, we’ll pause for a quick coffee or brekkie stop (at your own cost). The perfect chance to fuel up for the adventures ahead. Anna Bay: The Mighty Sand Dunes Welcome to the largest moving sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere! Feel the thrill of a 4WD sand safari followed by the heart-acing fun of sandboarding down golden slopes. An adventure you won’t forget! Prefer to keep it chill? Soak in the otherworldly beauty of the dunes and capture some incredible photos. Nelson Bay: Coastal Charm Next, we arrive in picturesque Nelson Bay, where you’ll have free time for lunch. From casual fish & chips to cosy cafes, you can choose your perfect seaside bite (at your own expense). Mount Tomaree: Views That Steal the Show After lunch, it’s time to lace up for a guided hike up Mount Tomaree (25 - 30 minutes walk each way). The panoramic views from the top are nothing short of spectacular, think sweeping ocean vistas, rugged headlands, and maybe even a pod of dolphins playing in the distance. Don’t forget your camera! Return to Sydney We’ll wrap up the day with a comfortable drive back, arriving at Sydney Central around 6:30 PM – memories and sand souvenirs in tow. ✅ What’s Included: Friendly driver/guide Guided Mount Tomaree hike Sand safari & sandboarding adventure ❌ Not Included: Meals & drinks (own expense) IMPORTANT NOTE!!!! Important Information

  • Moderate fitness level recommended, especially for the hike option. Dolphin option recommended for those that prefer less intense activity. Free time at Nelson Bay provides beach access if weather and conditions permit. Your guide can recommend the best swimming spots based on daily conditions. Lunch is not included. Bring a packed lunch or grab lunch at one of the Nelson Bay cafes recommended by your guide. While Mount Tomaree offers excellent vantage points for spotting dolphins in Port Stephens harbour (particularly during migration seasons), wildlife is unpredictable and sightings cannot be guaranteed. The summit provides panoramic views where marine life including dolphins, seals, and seasonal whales may be visible below.
