Decent prices for the location. Rueben sandwich was nice and the scotch egg was okay. Great place for beers though
It's a pub, welcoming and a place to be. Good rosè. Noting I cannot comment on the food as I didn't have any.
Went here for lunch today and the quality of the food was absolutely banging. I got the rump steak — cooked a perfect medium rare, super juicy with great seasoning and a beautiful sear. The chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how they should be. The salad was fresh with a really nice dressing. We also ordered the buffalo wings — not overly saucy, nice and moist inside with a decent crispy exterior. Overall, really solid meal. Would definitely come back!
Had a one night stay here before boarding a cruise. Despite some road noise it was really quiet and relaxing. The shared common areas of the kitchen and bathrooms is kept really clean. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. I don't know about the wifi I didn't see any log in details but didn't need to use it. The staff kindly stored our luggage as check in isn't until 3pm. There are quite a few stairs up which can be difficult for those with heavy luggage. There is also a rooftop area to relax on and a laundry area. The building itself is absolutely beautiful. I'd happily stay here again.
