We absolutely love Surena Persian Restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, and the meat is incredibly tender and full of flavour. The platters are fantastic value and perfect for sharing, and the lamb shanks are so tender they simply fall off the bone. What really makes this place special is the staff. They are so warm, welcoming and genuinely passionate about providing great customer service. They took the time to help us with the menu and made us feel so well looked after. We’ll definitely be back!
Coming from Brisbane as a Kebab enthusiast I picked Surena recommended by a friend. We ordered the Soltani and Vaziri so that we can test four different kebabs. All four were pretty good. The best was Koobideh followed by chicken and barg. We also had Kashke Bademjan and Mast Moosir for entree. Both were nice too. The only critique I can make is that there wasn’t enough gap between serving the entree and the main. They actually come literally 2 minutes apart.
Absolutely love this persian fine cuisine. What a find! Packed with crowd on a Friday evening and we enjoyed prompt and good service despite the busyness. The service team took time to assist us with our orders and made us feel welcome. Food was flavoursome but not overpowering. Loved the lamb shank and surena royal! Fried barramundi was yum. The team made quite a fun entrance with the birthday song playing in the restaurant when they took out the birthday cake for my hubby! We had a great time. Ending off the meal with their special persian tea and sweets were the best thing. Thank you Surena! 💯
I had a wonderful experience at Surena Persian Restaurant in Sydney. The food quality was excellent and truly authentic. It had been a long time since I had such a great experience in a Persian restaurant. The dishes were perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The entrees were especially outstanding and a great start to the meal. Everything tasted fresh and very well balanced. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with very high-quality Persian cuisine. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys authentic Persian food.
First time we had Persian food. Heard good things about it, didn't know it was that good and I finally went and try. We ordered a few things to try. While not all were perfect, but I think it's more of personal preferences, not the quality itself, cause quality was perfect. The lamb dishes blew me away, however they made them, they were perfect. And the rice, so so delicious. I don't mind driving 40mins to eat there again. Highly recommended 😍 And staff were also really good. Especially one who were kindly recommend few things and changed few orders so we could try different things. Thank you
