Short walk from our hotel for dinner. Was a Sunday night so easy to sit down and order meals. Ordered a chicken schnitzel and Guinness pie. Schnitzel was great and still moist as most placed these days overcook chicken. Guiness pie on the other hand sadly the meat was dry but still tasted nice. Loved my vivid cocktail.
This is a really lovely establishment, warm and friendly. Service is great and food is even better! We had the chef special of steak and wings with chips, slaw and pepper gravy. It was totally amazing! My only negative was the slaw didn’t have any mayonnaise or aioli, and they used a vinaigrette of sorts and it wasn’t as good. Everything was cooked amazingly and very tasty. It was so good we are back today to repeat!
Friendly staff, great vibe. Big open bar. Did not eat but food snelt great. Stone and Wood was $10 odd which for the location and vibe was fine by me. Great service with a smile. Old school furniture ciuld tell some yarns.
