Words cannot describe how amazing this venue is! I recently held my engagement party there and it was the most magical night of my life. The venue was set up so beautifully and it was everything I could’ve imagined. The staff there treat you like family, and they create such a warm atmosphere. With the management team catering to all your needs and a chef whose talents are unheard of. Sax is truly the heart of Barangaroo and I encourage everyone to go there and enjoy such a joyous venue.
We booked here because of the Facebook photos but we were a little disappointed with the venue. It was a little small and loud with the sax player though he was pleasant. I think the venue was just too small. We booked online and there was no mention of 6 people minimum for the bottomles menu. The food we ordered was fairly priced and delicious. The drinks we ordered were great, hats off to the bartender! We would've stayed if it was a little more quieter as it was hard to have a conversation.
Sax is one of the few places that offers live music and a saxophone player perform all the times. The music made the already romantic decor even more romantic in the evening. The food was very nice, we had a pasta dish, it’s so good that we had to order another one to try them both. Ingredients are sourced mostly from Sydney and was explained when they delivered the meals to the table. I love the idea of supporting Sydneysider businesses. It was a birthday celebration and they surprised us with a saxophone birthday performance next to our birthday girl. We were impressed with everything here. The staffs are so friendly and accommodating. We felt we were being well looked after. Well done Sax staffs. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend! With a live saxophone player, exceptional food and great service could not fault our dinner! We especially loved the crumbed olives to start and the truffle fries were addictive
If you are looking for a relaxing, chill, and cozy place to unwind, this is it. Sax Cafe and Lounge Bar is one of those places where you can enjoy the food, the music, the ambiance, and, most importantly, the company of someone special (or friends). The service is top-notch, and the food is super delicious! You can't go wrong with any dish you order, and they have a variety of drinks to choose from. It’s definitely a must-visit place. The quality of this establishment and their service is something I will treasure, and I will definitely be coming back here for sure.
