Had a fabulous time staying at Spicers. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, including providing advice about what to see and do and where to eat (all excellent recommendations). Can't recommend Spicers highly enough.

We had a truly exceptional stay at this superb property and will stay again! Special mention needs to go to Joanne. She gave us fantastic tips on our first day and helped extensively with our plans. She is a true asset to your property. In addition we took a shine to Philip who entertained us with stories about the local area. The decor was superb and we appreciated the delicious breakfast. Beautiful hotel which we are looking forward to returning to soon 🩷

A wonderful casual place to stay. Great food options in the area and wonderful walks to the harbor and Royal Gardens. Rooms were very quiet, the bathroom was spacious - with a huge shower. Staff made some great local recommendations to help fill my time.

We had such a lovely stay at Spicers Potts Point. The property is stunning, beautifully kept, and very clean, with a calm and elegant feel throughout. The area is beautiful too, with great restaurants, cafes, and bays all within walking distance. The service was excellent, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A special mention to the new Italian girl at reception, who really looked after us and made our stay feel extra special. Would highly recommend staying here.

I stayed here for two nights and had high expectations given the 4.9 rating and the €750 total price. In that context, it was a disappointment. My rating reflects the price paid—had it been around €200 per night, I would have rated it more favorably. It’s a decent hotel in a central location. The staff are friendly, though there are very few of them. On arrival, I honestly thought there had been a mistake. The property is surrounded by hostels, and the exterior and entrance feel more like a small boutique hostel in need of renovation than a premium hotel. For comparison, I’ve stayed at The Lyall in Melbourne, which is a true five-star boutique hotel in a much nicer setting. I understand prices differ between Sydney and Melbourne, but still. A fairer rating would be around 4.5, and the price should be closer to €200–250 per night rather than €375. At the current price point, it feels overpriced, and there are better options available.
