My experience was excellent. Lawrence is such a beautiful person to deal with and the owner was very welcoming. The rooms are a decent size with all amenities available. The location is one block away from the beach with great eateries nearby. It’s a win for me.
My stay was very lovely. I was greeted by a kind gentleman at reception who made me feel at home. Was a very friendly and kind man. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Such a great location close to the beach and town. Thank you 🧚🏼♀️😊
Fantastic experience from the moment I arrived. Met the owner who was sat out front (and the legend Neil) he offered me a coffee and we had a chat. Checkin was seamless and was even given a better room which looked straight down towards the beach. I was only here for 2 nights so room was perfect for what I required. Everything was clean and well presented and the off street parking, if you know manly was a prize possession. All staff were amazing and friendly. I would have given 5 star across the board, however I left a USB plug that connects for my car in the room. Followed up hotel a few times if it had been found. Whilst the reception staff again were amazing, the item I know was left there didn't appear in the room according to cleaners (I'd only bought it that very same day as well). Great place but now having to replace an item I accidentally left behind. Will definitely stay there again Adam
Basic room, but clean and tidy. Had everything I needed for my short 2 night visit. Staff were friendly and helpful when I arrived after my original hotels air conditioning unit was broken and my booking was refunded with no assistance to find something new. I was a female travelling alone for work, and the waves staff were super accommodating, checking me in after hours, price matching the original booking, and giving me a late check out on my exit day.
I honestly couldn’t fault this place. The customer service at Manly Waves and Studio Apartments was outstanding — the kind where you’re treated like family, not just another booking. I booked last minute to break up a long drive and they genuinely went out of their way for us. They waited for us to arrive and then upgraded us to a nicer room without hesitation. The owners and management, Theo I believe are absolute salt of the earth people who clearly know how to run a warm, welcoming business that makes you feel right at home. The location is phenomenal — easily my favourite part of Sydney — and the room itself was fantastic without the ridiculous price tag you usually expect in this area. Hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed in Sydney. I’ll be back.
