We visited Cottage Point Inn in April, and the whole experience was exceptional. The restaurant is hidden in the middle of nature, overlooking an inlet that runs between the land. The setting is beautiful, very peaceful and almost feels removed from time. You feel completely away from the city, and that sense of calm makes the meal even more enjoyable. The menu genuinely surprised us in the best way. The Australian produce was very well prepared, with original combinations and flavours we were not used to having together. Everything was full of flavour, the dishes were generous, and each course brought something new while still feeling perfectly balanced. The service was also excellent. The whole team was professional, warm and attentive, without making the atmosphere feel too formal or forced. Every dish was explained clearly, the service felt very natural, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. Everything flowed smoothly, with no unnecessary waiting and without ever making us feel rushed. We simply lost track of time. The menu may have changed since our visit, but on that day, everything was excellent from beginning to end. Between the food, the location and the quality of the service, this is a place that really stayed with us. I would definitely recommend it.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to relax, enjoy a meal, and take in the beautiful scenery. The restaurant itself was beautifully presented, clean, and well maintained, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. The food was an experience in itself. Every dish was meticulously crafted, with incredible attention to detail, and tasted just as good as it looked (see the photos!). Overall, the entire experience was fantastic. While the prices are on the higher side, that's to be expected for the quality of the food, service, and unique waterfront location. It's well worth it for a special occasion or anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

What made our visits even more special was the outstanding service. The team exceeded our expectations, and the friendly, attentive manager went above and beyond to ensure every moment was memorable. Their genuine care, hospitality, and attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcomed and valued throughout both visits. This was more than just a meal; it was a truly memorable experience that we will cherish and happily revisit.

The location itself is stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and such a relaxing atmosphere — the perfect place for a special getaway. We also had the eight-course tasting menu, and every single dish was exceptional from start to finish. The quality, presentation, and flavors were outstanding throughout the entire experience. Some of our favourites were the scallops, tuna, Bay bug, soft shell crab, barramundi, duck breast, Moby-style cheese, and the roasted hazelnut ganache dessert. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, and you could really tell how much care goes into the menu. The service was just as impressive as the food. A huge thank you to Armando, Louis, and Shane, who looked after us during the evening. They were all incredibly friendly, kind, attentive, and professional, and they made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality really elevated the whole experience. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable dining and accommodation experiences we’ve had. Everything — the atmosphere, the food, the service, and the comfort of the stay — was five-star quality. We would highly recommend Cottage Point Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury escape with amazing food and outstanding service.
We had the most incredible stay at Cottage Point Inn. My partner and I stayed overnight and enjoyed the 8-course lunch experience, and every part of it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The setting is stunning and so peaceful, making it the perfect escape. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and presented, with amazing flavours throughout the entire meal. A standout for me was the oysters they were incredibly fresh and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel really special. It was one of those memorable experiences you talk about long after you leave. We can’t wait to come back!
