Set sail from Rushcutters Bay and step into one of Sydney's most magical winter experiences — Vivid Sydney from the water. As the harbor shifts from golden hour to glittering nightscape, enjoy an uninterrupted view of the city's most celebrated festival of light, all from the comfort of your private vessel. Begin by cruising east toward Athol Bay, taking in the early evening glow over the harbor before turning back toward the city as the Vivid lights switch on. From the water, see the Sydney Opera House sails come alive with this year's striking projections and glide beneath the illuminated Sydney Harbour Bridge. Pause near Luna Park, where the iconic face glows against the night sky, and enjoy a gourmet meats and cheese board paired with a drink in hand. From there, cruise toward Barangaroo and position the boat for the Star-Bound Drone Show (Sunday to Wednesday nights). Watch from the harbor at Barangaroo to get a wide, panoramic view of the 1,000 synchronized drones lighting up the sky over Cockle Bay — far from the crowds, with the city skyline as your backdrop. Then, cruise back past the Opera House up close — a perspective most visitors never get — along the illuminated Royal Botanic Garden foreshore, returning to Rushcutters Bay.
