We had a great stay here. There aren’t many options in the area and this place was perfect. The room was enormous. It had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. It was comfortable. The service was wonderful.
As a sales rep, this was my go to accommodation when servicing the northern suburbs. We also had sales team conferences there. I always found the facilities clean, meals were good and staff friendly and helpful.
I stayed at Checkers for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is set in beautiful natural surroundings, making it feel like a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food at The Palms was absolutely lovely. What really made my stay special, however, was the exceptional service. Milan at reception went above and beyond to help me with several things and made every effort to ensure I was comfortable throughout my stay. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help were truly outstanding. The combination of great service, beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodation, and affordable pricing makes Checkers a place I would highly recommend. I would happily stay here again.
Room was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to cafe, restaurant, garden centre and a homeware shop next door at "The Palms". We enjoyed the really relaxing ambience of this centre.
