Great pub. The outdoor area is amazing. Even during a moderately busy lunch time, the noise volume was low. I had the burger which was delicious. Generous portion of fries. Partner had chili mussels. They were also delicious and a massive number -28! Dog friendly too.
The Lamb shank was absolutely delicious, super tender and fell straight off the bone. The sauce was rich and full of flavour, and paired perfectly with the creamy mash and green beans. Such a comforting, well-cooked meal. Definitely recommend this dish
We recently dined at Terrey Hills Tavern while staying nearby at Miramare Gardens for a company event, and it turned out to be a really convenient and enjoyable spot. The venue itself is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area was well set up with heaters, which made it comfortable even on a cooler evening. The open layout and relaxed atmosphere worked perfectly for our group, while the indoor section also caters well for families, complete with a kids’ play area. I’m usually not the biggest fan of pub food, but I was pleasantly surprised. The presentation was appealing, portions were generous, and overall the food was tasty. Our table ordered a variety of dishes: Lamb shanks (my choice) Beef cheeks with polenta Rib eye on the bone with calamari on the side Humpty Doo barramundi Chicken schnitzel with chips The lamb shank and beef cheeks (both part of their newer winter menu) were highlights—rich, tender, and well done. I sampled a bit of everyone’s meals: the barramundi was nicely cooked, the beef cheeks were very tender, and the rib eye was spot on at medium rare. The only slight letdown was the chicken schnitzel, which was a little dry—could be improved with better brining. Overall, it’s a great location with a pleasant atmosphere and solid food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, especially with a group.
Large dining space with plenty of seating, plus an outdoor fireplace that would be especially cozy on winter nights. There’s also a small playground, which is great if you have toddlers who need to burn off some energy. The food is fairly standard—nothing fancy, but it covers all the basics and does the job. Overall, it’s a solid spot for casual catch-ups with friends or family. Bonus points for the spacious car park, which makes visiting hassle-free.
Large tavern offering a variety of seating options both indoor and outdoor. The menu offers all the usual pub classics plus a few extras as well as daily chefs suggestions so there should be something to suit most tastes. The service is friendly and unusually, food is brought to your table. The servings are generous and tasty. The tap beer selection is limited but wine by the glass is good.
