Description
Explore the breathtaking beauty of Manly’s North Harbour on this unforgettable 90-minute guided kayak adventure — the perfect experience for first-time paddlers, nature lovers, and anyone wanting to discover a hidden side of Sydney Harbour.
Meet your friendly local guide at Manly Kayak Centre / Manly Lifestyle Club at Manly Wharf, beside the vibrant waterfront atmosphere of Felons Brewing Co., before launching onto the calm, crystal-clear waters of North Harbour. Within minutes, the energy of the city fades away as you paddle through one of Sydney’s most stunning natural playgrounds.
Glide past secluded beaches, dramatic sandstone coastline, and lush national park surrounds as you journey through Fairlight, North Harbour Reserve, and the iconic harbour coves of Manly. Keep an eye out for local marine life along the way — sea turtles, dolphins, rays, fish, and seabirds are often spotted in these pristine waters.
After approximately 30 minutes of relaxed paddling, arrive at a secluded harbour beach only accessible by water or bush track. From here, enjoy a short guided bushwalk through native coastal landscape to Arabanoo Lookout at Dobroyd Head, where breathtaking panoramic views open across Sydney Heads and the sparkling harbour below. Watch the famous Manly Ferry cruise through the heads while learning about the area’s fascinating natural and cultural history.
After soaking in the views, return to the beach for time to swim, relax on the sand, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings before paddling back across the harbour to Manly Wharf.
This experience is the perfect combination of adventure, nature, and relaxation — offering a rare opportunity to explore remote beaches, crystal-clear waters, and spectacular scenery just moments from the heart of Sydney.
