Day 1: Sydney Arrive in Sydney and meet your tour leader. Enjoy a welcome dinner and get to know your fellow travelers. Spend the night at the Holiday Inn Potts Point or similar. Meals: Dinner. Driving Distance: No driving. Day 2: Hunter Valley & Newcastle Leave Sydney behind and visit a wildlife park to meet iconic Australian animals. Enjoy a wine, cheese, and chocolate tasting in the Hunter Valley before heading to Newcastle for an orientation tour. Spend the night at the Lucky Hotel Newcastle or similar. Meals: Breakfast. Driving Distance: 280 kms. Walking Distance: Short easy walks. Day 3: Port Macquarie & Koala Hospital Travel to Port Macquarie and visit the Koala Hospital. Learn about the rehabilitation efforts for this beloved marsupial. Afterward, enjoy a peaceful walk along the foreshore, keeping an eye out for wild dolphins. Day 4: Niigi Niigi & Byron Bay Experience a Gumbaynggirr First Nations cultural experience before heading to Byron Bay. Visit Cape Byron for stunning views, and spot dolphins and whales during the season. Spend the night at the Beachcomber Byron Bay or similar. Meals: Breakfast. Driving Distance: 400 kms. Walking Distance: Short Easy guided walks (2km total). Day 5: Byron Bay Spend a free day in Byron Bay, known for its laid-back vibe. Relax on the beach, explore the town, or take part in optional activities such as surfing, kayaking, or whale watching. Spend the night at the Beachcomber Byron Bay or similar. Meals: None. Driving Distance: None. Day 6: Noosa & Rainbow Beach Travel to Noosa, known for its beautiful beaches and koala sightings in Noosa National Park. Continue to Rainbow Beach, where you'll spend the next two nights soaking up the vibrant coastal atmosphere. Spend the night at the Rainbow Getaway Apartments or similar. Meals: Breakfast. Explore ancient rainforests, crystal-clear lakes like Boorangoora (Lake McKenzie), see the SS Maheno shipwreck, and spot dingoes on the 75-Mile Beach.
