Description
Depart Sydney and cross into the Australian Capital Territory, with a morning tea stop (not included) in a country town along the way. Arrive at Canberra to join a guided tour of the New Parliament House, an architectural landmark representing Australian democracy.
After the tour, enjoy free time at the National Museum of Australia, known for its interactive exhibits showcasing the nation’s diverse history and culture. From September to October, the tour includes time at Floriade, a month-long flower festival featuring over one million bulbs and annuals in bloom at Commonwealth Park.
Return to the group to visit the Australian War Memorial, where you can learn about Australian military history and the sacrifices made in past wars. The tour continues past Yarralumla to see the distinctive national embassies, followed by panoramic views of Canberra from Mount Ainslie.
