The Hunter Valley Grains & Grapes Tour offers a comprehensive tasting experience of wine, beer, cheese, and spirits just a few hours north of Sydney. You can tailor your tastings with options for beer or wine, plus the chance to try chocolate pairings.

Host Dave focuses on small, family-run wineries, allowing guests to meet locals and learn about production processes firsthand. Tours include visits to vineyards and wineries, with vehicles typically seating 12 to 22 guests for a more personal tour.

The tour begins early from Sydney with a comfort stop en route. At the first winery, enjoy a guided vineyard and production tour followed by a wine tasting. Lunch usually takes place at the second winery, featuring shared dishes such as wood-fired pizzas and salads paired with your choice of wine, beer, or soft drink.

After lunch, visit a local family distillery to taste gin, vodka, and liqueurs. The second official wine tasting includes local cheese pairings, with guidance on matching each cheese to its wine.

The final stop offers a choice between a wine and chocolate pairing or a paddle of local craft beers. After the tour, return to Sydney with plenty of time to relax or socialise on the bus.
