Immerse yourself in over 60,000 years of Aboriginal culture on this intimate tour through Sydney’s significant National Parks. Led by local custodians, the tour combines cultural traditions with natural landscapes to provide authentic insight into Indigenous heritage.

• Sydney North (Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park): Explore Dharug Country’s coastal and bushland scenery, home to important Aboriginal rock engravings including whale carvings. Visit culturally significant America Bay and enjoy views from West Head Lookout. Walk approximately 2 km along ancestral paths while learning about connections to land and sea.
• Sydney East (La Perouse - City Pickup/Dropoff Available): Visit a historic Aboriginal coastal area on Dharawal Country linked to first contact events in 1788. Experience a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, tour the La Perouse Museum for Indigenous perspectives, and learn about totemism and custodial roles spanning over 30,000 years.
• Sydney South (Royal National Park): Explore Australia’s first national park on Dharawal Country. Discover rock engravings and midden sites in accessible areas, and experience guided walks through bushland that has sustained Aboriginal culture for millennia.

Each tour begins with a Welcome Smoking Ceremony, an ancient cleansing ritual. Approximately one hour is spent at each cultural site, allowing time for questions and meaningful understanding of Aboriginal connections to Country.
