Step through a marine world to meet some of New South Wales' most endangered aquatic species. Tread quietly through the Sumatran jungle to encounter endangered yet ferocious animals along the way. Step into the Taronga Centenary Theatre to behold a multi-award winning animated film, presented here as a 270° cinematic experience. Experience Vivid Sydney at Taronga Zoo, a shining a light on conservation and the wonders of wildlife this year. Gaze at the designs from local children coming to life in this stunning visual display. More than 100 artists, animators, musicians, technicians, electrical engineers and lighting designers have worked together for over 3,376 hours to create a captivating, inspiring and educational interactive experience for all ages. See 219 light sculptures throughout the grounds of Taronga Zoo Sydney that showcase some of the most stunning but endangered wildlife from ocean, bush and forest habitats. Through these art installations, hear a fascinating yet hopeful tale of wildlife and environmental conservation and the actions guests can take to save these beautiful animals from extinction over the next 10 years.

Important Information

Session times for the Vivid experience are part of your ticket. Ticket holders have an hour designated to their arrival, however they can stay in the zoo for as long as they wish until the closing
The zoo is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM - you can relax at the main entrance café from 4:30 PM before re-entering at 5:20 PM for Vivid.
