Great value for money hotel. Great location and very close to all the landmarks and public transport, as well as cool bars, cafes and markets in and around the rocks. Literally a 1min walk to see the harbour bridge and opera house. Location definitely makes up for the fact the rooms are a little tired. Terrace room was large and had everything you’d need. Everything is a bit dated and probably due for a revamp soon but considering it wasn’t as expensive as some nearby hotels I think it was fine.
First time stay at rendezvous, great location and close to everything. Rooms are tidy but we booked the queens terrace. Love the historical feel of the rooms but I made an error in booking the room with the stairs. We came down with our baby and the stairs made it logistically challenging. However I would like to make a special mention of Freya and Awesh both were very friendly and welcoming. They were able to accommodate us in an alternate room which made the stay a whole lot easier. Thank you for going out your way to assist. The staff are great!!
I checked Google reviews the night before my check-in, and they were terrible. I was worried and even considered canceling. I decided to check in anyway, and if the reviews were true, I planned to find another hotel. However, when I arrived at the lobby, the receptionist politely assured me that the hotel was kept clean daily. I was assigned a room on the fourth floor, and I was relieved after entering. It wasn't too bad; the carpet was a bit stained, but everything else was fine. The only downside was that the balcony on the fourth floor didn't offer a view of the opera house. I suggest providing two pairs of disposable slippers in each room. It's worth mentioning that the location is excellent, and the receptionist and staff were very helpful.
The Rendezvous team took care of all our room arrangements, rooms had beautiful views, and we were surprised us with lovely amenities in both rooms. Special thank you to Phoebe - her thoughtfulness made my in-laws’ anniversary felt even more special and memorable. The rooms were clean, well organised and views spectacular.
