I guess it's an alright French for a change, serves were dainty, soufflé was on a flat dish, 3 scallops, duck à l'orange was naked and a little on the dry side, the Barra was good, and the crusted Barra was good, and so was the crème brûlêe.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly and Chef Mark came over several times to explain the dishes, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended
Had a birthday dinner, before a private proposal elsewhere,what a start to the night. Atmosphere was excellent, the service was great, they sang happy birthday, sparkler on dessert. And the food, if there was a 6th star, I would give it. Got the 3 course. The soufle entree, delicious, the complimentary snails - wow, so far going to other French restaurants, they have been the best, not rubbery, soft juicy with that garlic oil, yum. The wagyu, have to pay +10 on top for 3 course, but we'll worth it. The duck my partner had, cooked to perfection with the hint of reduced orange taste. Then the desserts. BEST Creme Broulee ive had in a long time, with cherries in it, make it so different but the flavour..my goodness. And the chocolate cake with the blueberries.. sooo chocolatey yummy goodness. I cant believe I got sooo full. Definitely will come do the 8 course and another time time to try the pork shoulder. Thank you guys!!!! Oh... and she said yes!!!
We had a very enjoyable lunch. The staff were welcoming and they obviously love working there. The room is spacious and airy, the service quick and attentive. The grilled sardines were delicious, my partner loved her pork terrine. The Foie de Veau was great, the Wagyu steak was perfectly 'a point' and the frites were much admired. My partner really liked her Apple tarte tatin. My Affogato was a real treat. The wine list is small, but well chosen. Add in the champagne and you have the perfect lunch!
We had a phenomenal dining experience at the restaurant last night. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and service was exceptional. Highly recommend for authentic french. Price affordable too. Recommended chablis wine from the staff was 🤌🤌🤌
