Haven't had a feed like this since I was a kid, 65 years ago! But the fish, chips and potato scollops today, were WAY better than I've EVER remembered!! No oily drips off any of the items, no greasy hands afterwards, just great clean taste of beef tallow, everything was exceptional, the hand cut chips, sensational, REAL potato scollops-not manufactured junk from a supermarket and fresh battered flathead was delicious. The premise was clean, the fish on display in ice, all looked fresh, together with the salads you could choose from. All-together, a thoroughly delightful fish and chip experience, like nothing I've ever had before - absolutely will be revisiting and thanks to the TV show that my wife viewed, we had the same food experience as the hosts did😋😋😋
Finally went here after living in the area for years. Hands down the best chips I've had in OZ. There are doing a seafood mix grill special for $15. Bloody great little lunch. Give it a go, you wont be disappointed.
Fish was super greasy and the chips didn’t taste like normal chips it tasted super weird and bad. Bought food for the whole family and no one ate half of their food because it just wasn’t that pleasant. Fish burger wasn’t bad tho so it bumped the score up.
I came here bc of the reviews and it did not disappoint. Hands down one of the best fish and chips in my life. Battered correctly, golden crisp and the oil tasted fresh. Seasoned well with chicken salt and the tartare was homemade, little coconut kick was beautiful. Owner was kind and server was friendly and fast. Such a great experience and beautiful tasting fish, chips, calamari and snack pack!! Please come try it, you won’t regret it
The best chips in Sydney. Hands down. If you are looking for chips similar to British chips - this is the closest you can get in Sydney. Hand peeled onsite from real potatoes, not frozen. Soft and slightly crispy and fluffy inside. They are the perfect chip. Vivek the owner is exceptionally friendly. The shop is spotless. Every table was clean and had nice comfy chairs. Great music playing. Not too loud. Easy parking in nearby Woolies underground car park or by post office. Close to bus stop. Ramp at front if you are coming in with a pram / trolley / wheelchair. Toilets across road. Ordered in store and online, and every time it’s been a winner. Dee Why’s hidden gem. If you want the freshest, tastiest fish and chips in Sydney you must go.
