A true hidden gem for lunch! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. The food was fresh, fast, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented, with great attention to detail and a perfect balance of flavours. The portions were just right, making it an ideal lunch experience without feeling too heavy. A fantastic spot with quality food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth discovering and a place we’ll be returning to.
Stopped in at Bomonti Cafe on York Street for lunch after walking past and deciding it looked too inviting not to try. We ordered a large cappuccino, the Burrito Bowl, and the Mediterranean Bowl. The food was the star of the show, both bowls were delicious, fresh, filling, and packed with flavour. My only small complaint was that the Mediterranean Bowl arrived with tomatoes despite them not being mentioned on the menu. As a proud member of the "tomatoes belong at a safe distance from my plate" club, that was a bit of a surprise! The cappuccino was certainly large, but it packed enough caffeine to power Sydney's CBD for the afternoon. Coffee lovers who enjoy a strong brew may be delighted, but it was a little too intense for my taste. The atmosphere was lovely. For a Saturday, York Street was buzzing with people coming and going, which gave the cafe a great city vibe. Service was prompt and efficient, but the staff seemed a little sombre, as though they'd been told smiling was now an optional extra. Everything arrived quickly and correctly, but a smile or two would have made the experience even better. Come on guys, it's a sunny Saturday in Sydney, smiling doesn't hurt! Overall, a pleasant lunch spot with tasty food, a great location, and plenty of city energy. We'd happily visit again.
Bomonti Cafe is in the center of Sydney CBD (right across QVB). I didn’t expect there to be such a good café right downstairs from my hotel. The blue swimmer crab meat omelette is so yummy. Will definitely come back everyday during my stay. For my final breakfast in Sydney, I decided to play it safe and came back to Bomonti Cafe again and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The Rosti Stack was absolutely delicious. The texture of the potato rosti was amazing, and the combination of the rosti, bacon and maple sauce worked so well together. I’m extremely satisfied with this breakfast and I’ll definitely visit again next time I’m in Sydney.
Brunch was amazing! Gluten free bread was so delicious. Highly rated for its taste. Coffee on almond milk was beautifully made. So frothy considering it was on almond milk. Smashed avo on brioche was also absolutely delicious! Feta was creamy! Service was fairly standard. Polite to deal with. They didn't come and check to make sure everything was okay after shortly starting our meal. If they did, we would have ordered another coffee. They were prompt to seat us and take our order. We are keen to come back tomorrow for our breakfast whilst staying in Sydney.
Such a wonderful brunch spot! I ordered the chicken and mushroom risotto — it was incredibly creamy and flavorful, and the chicken was absolutely delicious. The omelette was perfectly pan-fried with that lovely fragrant aroma. And mocha just perfect. The service was super friendly and welcoming. We had such a relaxing time, just slowly enjoying the joy of brunch. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and a chill vibe!
