Absolutely loved our experience here! The seafood was incredibly fresh and everything we ordered was delicious. The service was also fantastic — friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Such a great spot for fresh seafood and a lovely dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!
From the moment we walked in to this beautiful restaurant, we were made to feel welcome. My Husbands birthday dinner treat :) Started with two of the best cocktails ever! Then scallops, tuna, orange roughy, ocean trout and to top it off probably the best sticky date this side of the date line !. I have to praise the service. The more mature handsome waiter was so lovely and made the experience even more amazing. Thank you Garfish, Crows Nest for a magical evening. 10/10 for food 20/10 for service.
We were seated at an outside table. It felt quite cosy and nice with heaters and pretty lighting, despite chilly weather. We both had barramundi, one with chips and one with steamed greens, so we could share both sides. The fish was succulent and almost creamy in texture, absolutely delicious. The chips were nice and crispy. For dessert, we enjoyed sharing the buttery sticky date pudding.
Birthday celebrations at Garfish Atmosphere: cosy, ambient and busy but cost Service: was great Drinks: spot on Entree: we got the sourdough, loved that it warm and fresh, would have been nicer if they were thicker slices. We also got the grilled Moreton bay bugs, these were perfectly cooked and outright delicious. Mains: the rubbed and roasted barramundi with roasted potatoes were cooked beautifully. Als got the king prawns and chorizo linguini, prawns were beautiful and that stops there unfortunately. The pasta was your typical pasta, it was drenched in a soup base instead of the creamy pasta that would have better paired. It also had a bite to it, the waiter did pre-warn us about the spice (chilli), I couldn’t eat it after 3 bites. Overall, still good
We’ve enjoyed our dining in experience with Garfish crows nest during lunch on a Sunday. Pretty cozy & pet friendly. The food was sumptuous, we enjoyed the pasta linguine! The bay bugs & barramundi fish. We were very satisfied and will add garfish to our go to seafood restaurant around crows nest. The staff are so friendly. Thank you for a great dining experience!
