Amazing atmosphere and a perfect place for a date night. The service was exceptional, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They took the time to chat with us and made us feel right at home throughout the evening. The whole experience was warm, relaxed, and enjoyable from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out!
We had dinner at The Herring Room last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Jennifer and the team provided fabulous service throughout the evening - friendly, attentive and professional. The food was delicious with a great range of options to choose from, and we were also impressed by the excellent selection of wines and cocktails. Combined with the lovely atmosphere, it made for a really special night. Highly recommended!
Definitely one of the best restaurants that we have tried in the last few months. Vibes were warm and friendly, and food super delectable. We ordered Hokkaido scallop, slow cooked octopus and French onion soup for appetiser, and pan roasted market fish and wagyu MB6/7+ flank steak for main. All of them were extremely tasteful. Will certainly visit again, and look forward to trying the Head Chef’s degustation dinner.
Absolutely incredible dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was beyond amazing — every dish was beautifully presented and packed with amazing flavor. The wine selection was impressive and perfectly curated, making it easy to find the ideal pairing. And the dessert? Simply the best — the perfect sweet ending to a flawless meal..must try the sticky fig pudding with homemade butterscotch sauce. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
A huge thank you to Angela and crew who hosted our post wedding lunch on Valentine’s Day. The food was amazing, but we already knew that as we’ve been previously to the Herring Room and couldn’t think of a better location to have our reception. The adults had food envy over the kids lasagne and chocolate brownie. The booking process and communication was fantastic. We didn’t need a wedding cake as we had their delicious desserts. All our guests were so impressed with the food and the atmosphere. Angela was a fantastic host/MC. We look forward to many more visits to the Herring Room and we know where our yearly anniversary meal will take place.
