Overnight stay, so just needed a bed and nothing fancy, this hotel was ok and as expected for the price paid. Basic standard of room, the TV was small and old-school, room was surface clean, shower was great, bathroom small but suitable. However, first room we were given had a fridge that didn't work and had ice-creams left, and had not been cleaned out, in the freezer that were melted. I required a fridge that worked so I managed to negotiate that we change rooms, though this was not offered at first, just the option to leave my drinks and food in the hotel kitchen! The hairdryer in the room I stayed in did not work, made a screeching sound and didn't blow air. The staff were friendly, check in and out was easy, parking was outdoors with plenty of space.
The first room we walked into smelled damp and reception were able to move us to another room - this was great. However in our new room, the air con ran noisy and the sheets were itchy..
Everything was great, however the room had no beside tables. There was a space for them but we had to put our drink bottles or coffee on the main bench which only had one chair. Yeah so a bit inconvenient for a couple 😔 And the $5 parking was an added surprise
this is a very good place to stay. Rooms are always clean and extremely comfortable beds with lovely hot showers. The staff are a delight and very helpful and they have a restaurant on site. Despite being on the main road the rooms don't attrack noise of the passing vechicles.
I arrived after a long day of work and driving. It was easy to get a reasonable meal at the hotel. I slept extremely well despite being in a room close to the highway. It was everything I needed for the night, conveniently located, comfortable with food on the premises.
