My friends and I had a fabulous time at the Bottomless Brunch at Black Bird Cafe. Recommend the venue 100%
Cockle Bay Wharf is more than a food court, it’s a frame of reference for many visitors to Sydney. There’s an iconic fountain adorned by bird statues surrounding a fountain and also offers beautiful views of the harbour. It’s ideally located centrally granting easy access to the CBD and to Pyrmont. Plus there’s often a major light / laser display included with Vivid and monthly fireworks (first Saturday most months). Highly recommend
Had a wonderful experience at Baia The Italian! The service was incredibly attentive and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Every dish we ordered tasted fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Make sure to catch their Happy Hour, which runs up to 6:00 PM! It’s an absolute steal for the quality you get. We will definitely be back!
First time to visit, I'm from Texas. I absolutely love this place so much food so many options. They had free fireworks free lasers show. Made you feel comfortable? There's a play area for kids. Just a great place to hang out and enjoy company. Just visiting highly recommend you to visit.
I attended the Chinese New Year celebration at Darling Harbour tonight, and the Jet Pack Lion Dance and fireworks show at 8:45 pm was absolutely worth the trip. I originally stood near the Convention Centre but moved over to Blackbird Café at Cockle Bay Wharf, where I ended up with a fantastic front‑row view of the fireworks on the water. Although I couldn’t capture the lion dance as well after relocating, I managed to take some great videos of the fireworks, which looked stunning reflected across the bay. It was very crowded tonight, as expected for Lunar New Year, but the atmosphere was surprisingly calm and respectful. Everyone kept good discipline, no complications at all. When the show ended, the crowd left peacefully and in order, creating a smooth, drama‑free finish to a festive night. A wonderful celebration overall — vibrant, well‑organised, and a joyful way to welcome the New Year.
