On Monday, our 30th wedding anniversary we chose the Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant for some fine dining for lunch and also take in the views of the foreshores of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The service was first rate with our waiter making sure of any dietary requirements we had and ensured that any items of concern were separated for us to enjoy eating safely. The food was truly delicious and really made our celebration a great one. We ordered baby calamari and burrata as entrees, with our mains being miso glazed black cod, char grilled swordfish, deep fried corn ribs and truffle fries. Enough food that we couldn't eat any dessert but we had a few cocktails. It was a peaceful, lovely afternoon and to make it more memorable we asked for a few photos of us to be taken which ended up being hilarious as I couldn't get to do a love heart pose right and had us both in stitches and such fantastic candid photos to be remembered forever. We highly recommend a visit for lunch or dinner.
Great location to enjoy a meal or drink directly in front of the Harbour bridge and the Opera House. Perfect place to be at 6pm during Vivid Sydney!! Can’t beat this view. Booked table for 6pm. The overhead heaters kept us warm on a rainy evening. A very full house. Great service in spite of crowd. Food was good! Had vegan options.
This restaurant impressed me with its delicious meals and cozy atmosphere. The food arrived quickly and tasted absolutely amazing from appetizers to dessert. The employees were polite, attentive, and very accommodating to our requests. It’s a great spot for both casual dining and celebrations.
We had such a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The views made it even more special, with stunning sights of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge while we dined — truly unforgettable. A special shoutout to Jenny, who made our visit even more memorable with her warm and attentive service. She went above and beyond, especially taking such thoughtful care of our little toddler, which we truly appreciated. And don’t leave without trying the desserts — they were the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great seafood, breathtaking views, and exceptional service!
Had a lovely dinner here with my mum tonight. We ordered the barramundi and the roasted chicken breast — both dishes were cooked beautifully. The fish was fresh and tender with a bright, balanced sauce, and the chicken was surprisingly juicy with great flavour. The starters (chilled octopus and fried calamari) were also light, tasty, and perfect for sharing. The waterfront view made the evening feel calm and relaxing, and the service team were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed dinner with family. Would happily come back.
