Stayed for 2 nights in the school holidays with my wife and pre-teen daughter. We booked via booking.com for 3 adults to ensure bedding for 3. Firstly the positives: the location is great; also they allowed us a very early check in (11am) which was very helpful. Now, the considerable negatives: there was no rollaway bed in the room, despite the booking and request for same at booking - no worries, we were allowed in early so it was understandable. I went back to reception and they assured me it was noted and would be sorted out. We then went out for the day and didn’t get back until after 9pm. When we got back there was no bed and only linen for two. I called down to reception and told they would fix it. 45 minutes later, still no bed for my 9yo, and I called again, only to be told they would fix it tomorrow! I was very firm that I had requested the bed 2 months prior, 9 hours prior and 45 minutes prior and we had no bed or linen for three adults (as we had booked for to avoid these problems). 30 minutes later her colleague came and up and said we were very lucky as there was only one rollaway bed left that he had to make up as it was busy and school holidays! He had forgotten a towel for me, but was good enough to go out again. The next day we went out for breakfast, only to be locked out of our room on return (housekeeping has closed the common door for ours and the adjoining room). The front desk was unable to provide a key for the common door as it unlocked the two room doors - but was unable to help until his only colleague was available. After about 15 minutes his colleague returned, but seemed put out to have to let us back into our room. Our room was well serviced but no refreshed amenities. All cups and glasses were filthy, despite a dishwasher, but there was no detergent to hand wash anything. The shower thermostat was broken and hard to control temperature. Overall a dated room, in an understaffed hotel. We were also charged extra for the rollaway, despite booking.com stating the cost includes beds for three adults. I wanted to like this hotel based on the location, however it was a poor stay. It’s a pity after previous Fraser suites stays elsewhere that were good.
|stayed 3 nights in the Executive Suite. The room was excellent and the gym facilities were great as well. However, I paid a $100 deposit, and as of today — 8 days later — it still hasn't been refunded. Looking at other reviews, I see this is a common complaint, so please make sure to carefully check the refund policy and processing time when you pay your deposit, and stay on top of it at checkout too. Also, my key card stopped working at the gym one morning. When I went to the front desk to ask about it, they told me the card had been deactivated a day early and issued me a new one. When I asked what to do about the key card in the room, they told me to just share that one card between us. It was inconvenient, but I agreed — except when I went back to the room (which had been cleaned in the meantime), the spare key card that was in the holder was gone. It seems housekeeping took it. So now whoever's in the room and whoever's at the gym can't split up and each do their own thing. In any case, I've contacted them about the $100 refund, but there's been no response to my email, and I'm now pushing hard through my travel agency to get this resolved. To other guests: please make sure you actually get your deposit refunded.
Me and my little family absolutely loved our stay here!! We enjoyed everything to our arrival, room, location, view, customer service, buffet breakfast, parking & amenities 😍🥰 Everything was fresh & clean - staff were amazing! And were always willing to help with anything we needed or had questions with which helped us a lot to know where to go and what to do during vivid 😍 Parking was super easy to find aswell! We were sad to leave because of how much we enjoyed our time here but we’ll definitely be back again of course! 🥰 Also we were blessed with a free breakfast voucher from one of the lovely staff members 🥹 was such a lovely experience and nice touch to finish off our LWE small get away 🥰 till next time - wishing you all the best 😊 one of the staff members I’m sure his name was kevin & so sorry if I got it wrong but he was an absolute gem & so lovely during our stay 😊 Thank you for making our stay extra special 😊
We stayed at Frasers Suites for a few days around our wedding, and Michael was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make both us and our guests feel welcome and looked after. We had several family members and friends fly in from overseas who stayed at the hotel, and everyone commented on Michael’s outstanding service. His attention to detail made such a difference during a very important time for us. A special thank you as well to the extended team for the thoughtful little gifts and beautiful card.
Exceptional stay with comfort, views, and top service! Fraser Suites offers an outstanding stay from start to finish. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for relaxing after a long day. Everything feels premium and well taken care of. The service is excellent, with staff who are attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Every detail is well managed, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights is definitely the view — absolutely stunning and one of the best I’ve experienced. Waking up to that view really makes the stay special. All the amenities are well provided and maintained, and the cleanliness throughout the property is top-notch. Overall, Fraser Suites delivers a perfect balance of comfort, quality, and service — truly a 5-star experience that I would highly recommend! Love the water bottles!
