Our stay at Mercure Sydney Manly Warringah was excellent, thanks to Bianca and her team. Bianca was consistently professional and accommodating, and we felt well looked after during our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Thank you Bianca.
Excellent hotel that was perfectly located for us. The service was excellent, we had off street parking. The room was clean and comfortable. The close proximity to the Manly Leagues Club was a bonus as we didn’t have to walk far for dinner. Highly recommend
Breakfast was excellent and the bed was very comfortable, however, it appears this motel is running with serious financial problems .. (1) BRING YOUR OWN TOILET BRUSH. Yes, they refuse to supply toilet brushes in the rooms (their words, not mine) (2) BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER. Cleaners simply fold your old toilet roll, to make it look new, without supplying extra/replacement rolls. Guests must ask reception for replacements (3) BRING YOUR OWN FRIDGE SHELVING. They have removed all the shelving from the bar fridges (their words, not mine), in an effort to make guests buy cold drinks from the motel (4) I have travelled worldwide using Mercure, but this is the only one where COST CUTTING is more important than Customer Comfort. Management is clearly inexperienced in customer-focused service
Our room didn't have any coffee or tea when we arrived (person cleaning rooms did give us supplies when I asked) and no more replaced when the room was serviced. Plates and cups available but no cutlery. Not even a teaspoon to stir our coffee. Clean room with firm sofa, TV and small table and chairs. Great bar and Cafe in the lobby that was reasonable priced and offered happy hour.
