The most homey and wholesome hostel i’ve ever stayed in! Lily and the team are all so friendly and helpful, it’s amazing what they’ve created from scratch! You can see the passion and care that goes into everything they do and it’s great to feel appreciated as a guest. We’ve stayed here for 3 weeks now and keep extending as it’s great. They are continuously working on improvements to make pad even better. We’ve made so many friends here with both tourists and those who are working and theres a super friendly feel in the hostel. I look forward to returning after work knowing everyone is up for a chat, its like a hostel family💚 The pizza night and wine & cheese night is also great at creating a space where people can chat and meet each other. The rooms are super cosy and clean and the women’s bathrooms are beautiful! the light up mirror and hair dryers & straighteners to use are a great touch. I also love the cinema room and outside deck, you get great sunsets from there and it’s a lovely sun trap. I see staff cleaning all of the time, the hostel is very well looked after. My only criticism is the kitchen hob sitch is small, it hasn’t been as issue for us as all guests are considerate of others and it isn’t too busy atm but that’s the only improvement i can think of! The air fryer and other facilities are perfect. It’s amazing value for money and definitely has that boujee on a budget feel. The location is also great, directly in between bondi and the cbd with lots going on in the area too. Not far from a bus stop (10 min walk) and supermarkets in the area too. Absolutely perfect for a long or short term stay! i’d definitely recommend pad and come back 💚
I had a great stay at Pad Hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help. The service was amazingly fast whenever I needed anything. The atmosphere was welcoming and made it easy to feel at home and meet other travelers. The location is excellent, with everything you need close by. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney!
I had a perfect stay! Everything was great: the hostel is well-equipped, in a fantastic location, the beds are comfortable, the atmosphere is social without being too noisy, and the staff are absolutely lovely! ❤️ Without a doubt, this is the best hostel I've stayed at in Australia. It was a real pleasure staying here, and I hope to come back one day. Thank you, Pad Hostel and the whole team! 😁
Pad Hostel is a fantastic place to stay, whether you're looking for long-term accommodation or just passing through while travelling. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and approachable. It has a great sense of community that makes it easy to feel at home from day one. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and enjoyable place to stay in Sydney.
I've stayed at a few hostels in Sydney and Pad Hostel is definitely one of the nicest! The rooms were clean, beds were soft (and came with 2 pillows!) the showers were spacious, and the bathrooms had a lot of counter space with hair tools to borrow (the light up mirrors were a huge bonus)! I also loved the location! Paddington is perfectly situated between CBD & Bondi, and has lots of boutique shopping, markets, and coffee shops. Everything was walkable or just a short bus ride away. I definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Sydney or looking for long-term accommodation!
