We really enjoyed our stay at darling square. Really convenient location wise close to George Street(trams), Haymarket and darling harbour all within a 5/10 minute walk. I cannot fault the staff all very lovely. Bed was comfy and the apartment was big enough with a kitchen and small fridge. Thanks so much we will stay there again when we go to Sydney.
Perfect if you travelling with a child/family. Spacious room to move about. Bedroom size large and fits portacot easy. Love the thick dark curtains, just a huge shame about the outside/road noise but to be expected in the city espesh with Vivid lights week on. No room service or dinner available at our time of stay & the swimming pool was under renovation which we were not aware of. Gym was good but limited with heavier weights selection & no spray/wipes to clean equipment down after use, the last person in there had left rubbish in the treadmill. Staff were helpful & friendly although we had to ask for extra towels twice and there is no laundry on site, they can do it for you but its $75. Walking distance to most places which is a huge bonus, made the trip easy for us to get around with no car.
Spacious room, comfy beds. Location great, close to light rail, train station and Chinatown. It was nice having a balcony. Kitchen was not that well equipped, we requested a toaster as the room didn't come with one and was told there weren't any spare as they don't have enough for every room which was really annoying to make breakfast. Overall it did the job, and wasn't badly priced.
Nice, clean and comfortable. We stayed in the premium queen room so it had been updated. Our aircon didn't work, and when I spoke to the housekeeper she had the matinence man there in 10 minutes. He then said he couldn't fix it and within 20 minutes reception phoned and moved us to another room, with aircon. All staff members were welcoming and friendly. The buffet breakfast was brilliant and kept us going for the day. Walking distance to the Harbour, shopping and food. We would definitely stay again.
An exceptionally clean and well-maintained property with staff who truly go above and beyond. We stayed for five days and were easily accommodated for both an extremely late check-in and a very early check-out—having a 24/7 reception and in-room dining service made everything seamless. The furniture and bedding were incredibly comfortable; and the rooms were spacious, including the kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast service was phenomenal. The location is also excellent, within the CBD and close to public transport. We couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough!
