The Alison Randwick
Sydney
Beoordelingen
We have stayed at The Alison Randwick a few times now, it is so easy to get into the city via the light rail which leaves just down the road from the hotel and close to Clovelly for a morning dip. Our last stay was made even better by the lovely staff at The Alison, especially Pia who helped with our booking and anything else we needed whilst we stayed. Can definitely recommend staying at The Alison.
I stayed here for 7 days, the place was nice and comfortable and staff was nice. You dont have a private bathroom but I was put in the room opposite a toilet/shower so all was good. I know randwick so location was perfect, close to shops/buses/gym and anything else. No downfall. Maybe dont bring so much luggage as rooms can be tight for space and not much place to hang them up. I think these sort of places are only good for short stays
The rooms were absolutely tiny. There was nowhere to put your bag…and no suitable hanging space. I was travelling alone and have no idea how two people would go in a room. The towels and bath mats were tiny and did not feel Like what you’d expect in a boutique luxury hotel, no face washers provided. The bed sheets were rough and uncomfortable. One of the bathrooms on the second level was very small the tiles could use a good clean or replacing. Limited toilet paper provided on my first night for so many guests (1 roll) in each bathroom. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The link for feedback on the email you sent after my stay doesn’t work so I couldn’t actually provide direct feedback.
This hotel is not boutique more like accommodation for backpackers. The service desk were lovely and helpful. The Argentinian new employee I would give 5 stars. Super helpful. However the room size is a shoe box and no space to put away your suitcase. The shared bathroom was a bathroom looking very decrepid. At night unfortunately your sleep is affected by slamming doors and voices. I would update the hotel , all is looking very tired, and show signs to say please be considerate with the time in the bathoom.
You get what you pay for. Overall a comfortable room, but basic (as per the price tag). A few things added up. Bedside lamp flickering, room wasn't cleaned when a sign was on the door, the main light to the room wasn't operating properly on the first night. Had hoped for a bit better service.
