Occasionally one gets a steak that is just perfectly cooked! And on this tuesday there was a special on so very price friendly. Do not go anywhere else. Great food, fantastic atmosphere and super helpful staff. I will be back!
Had dinner here on a Monday night. Was quiet upstairs and easy to find a table. The meals were great. Steak was a good size and cooked perfect. The Irish stew was very good and full of flavour.
Just came for a quick feed. Very casual spot for a drink and a feed. Dont expect too much. Good for sporting events. Food was average, drinks were sgandard Cbd prices. Would try other places before returning.
Fantastic place for after work drinks/dinner. Got the fish and chips, and the steak with chips/salad. They had a good selection of beer. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and the place was decorated for St Patricks Day. The vibe is pretty great. The salad was a bit of a let down but other than that, everything was great, definitely worth going to if you are in the area.
There is promotion on every Tuesday "Half price for all main menu". We ordered striploin and Tbone steaks. I am aware that Scruffy Murphy has been there for a long time as I used to go there back in 2002 -2003. The interior and day time atmosphere was similar, their bartenders were friendly but the food was disappinting considering there are so many pub foods in CBD. The steak was not evenly cooked, stringy and rough although it was medium rare.
