I had a party at the Balmain hotel recently and the venue was so good. The Bora space was the perfect area, and we were able to organise our own live music. Leah (who manages the events) was so helpful on the phone in the lead up to it and made everything seem so easy. Thanks to all of the staff on the night.
It was trivia night though we didn’t go for that. Plenty of beer options and the menu was good. Ran out of the special before 6pm (roasted lamb rumps) which was a bummer. Schnity was good though not great.
This pub is a true jewel of Balmain. The staff are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Locals treat this place like a family club, which says everything about it. If you want to see a great place that truly brings a neighbourhood together, this is a must-visit. And if you want to have a great time, enjoy good food, and meet new friends — definitely come here.
