This is a great spot. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. The views are lovely. There is an extensive dog menu as well. The food is decent, the menu needs more options. But overall a great experience that I enjoy often. Nia was my waitress today and a delight
Had such a lovely experience at Centennial Homestead today for breakfast with family and friends. We were a big group of 14 people, including 5 kids under 4 years old, and the staff were honestly amazing with us the entire time. A big thank you to Thais, Luca, Yuri, Anna Julia, Marvin, and another lovely girl whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch — the service was warm, attentive, patient, and made everyone feel so welcome. We ended up staying for almost 3 hours and never felt rushed, which made the whole morning even more enjoyable and relaxed. The atmosphere was beautiful, everyone loved the food, and the experience was great from start to finish. Definitely a place we’d happily come back to 😊
I came to the cafe for the first time, and got served by Marvin who got us the best table in the house, with this amazing view of the park, so vibes all round. His service was exceptional as well as the food and mimosas we had. I came to have a great day with friends and we had way more than that! Thank you, Marvin
This unique structure is made of steel wire, copper, and wood tablets with words, located near the historic Centennial Homestead, aka The Story Wall (also known as the Centennial Park Story Wall or Heritage Wall) in Sydney's Centennial Parklands, honouring Indigenous history and settler stories, a beautiful piece blending contemporary art with local heritage opposite the historic homestead and cannon site. Artist: Michael Mossman Designer: Stephen Johnson To acknowledge the diverse stories, people, and events that shaped Centennial Parklands, bridging Indigenous and colonial histories. (Courtesy: Dr Google) The wooden posts that form the main structure seem to have some protrusions running down them, in some form of tactile message reminiscent of braille communication; couldn't 'read' it (would have appreciated a 'note' from the artist). Was an overcast day so the ambient light was not too sharp or ideal for photographs.
