Came here for a birthday dinner and ordered their set menu. The t bone steak was amazing, cooked well and full of flavor, easily the highlight of the meal. Service was attentive throughout without being intrusive, staff made the celebration feel special. We got seated in the terrace area and the view was amazing, great atmosphere for a birthday dinner, especially as the evening set in. Nice ambience overall, made the whole experience more memorable. Would definitely recommend their set menu if you want good value and quality in one package. Great spot for celebrations or special occasions, the combination of good food, good service, and good view really makes it worth it.
Phenomenal birthday experience at 6head tonight. Food was great but the service from Imran was the best service I had ever received. Extremely attentive, funny and excellent attention to detail and food recommendations. You could tell he truly cared about not only us but every other table near us recieved his incredible service. He went above and beyond ensuring the water was always filled and even took photos when asked. I cannot describe how positive Imran is, if only everyone was a bit more like him!! Would come back just for him, please give this man a raise as he truly deserves it.
We were very lucky to be allocated a terrace table with the perfect view of both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The setting alone was spectacular, but what truly made the experience special was the impeccable service and outstanding food. We were so busy enjoying ourselves that we hardly took any photos! To start, we had the kingfish ceviche and escargot, followed by the pomme mash, spinach gratin, and the OC ribeye with fermented chilli sauce. Every dish was beautifully executed and absolutely delicious. The standout for me was the steak—it was even better than the one at Margaret, in my personal opinion (sorry, Margaret!). We even ordered dessert, which is unusual for us, but the éclair was the perfect finish to a wonderful and memorable long lunch. From the stunning views to the exceptional food and service, this was truly a fantastic dining experience that we won't forget.
I have been here 3 times with a different occasions in 5 years. I can see they tried to give a twist on the menu recipe which is creative just the taste is interesting not wow ,not my favourite. I love matcha cocktails, our drinks has been sitting too long after it done. So the pornstar Martini is very flat. ( I work in hospitality somewhere/ if I saw sparkling I served to customer not bubble enough I would change it) All staffs were lovely. The place is nice decor just over price( Ex. you have to pay extra $6-$7 for the sauce on side to pair with your stakes and I don't think it worthy) But if you have $$$$ why not try the experience.
We visited 6HEAD to celebrate our 3-year anniversary, and it was truly a world-class experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by two staff members who made us feel like VIPs immediately. They sat us at an incredible end table with an unobstructed, postcard-perfect view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. It was the most romantic backdrop we could have asked for. The food was sensational. We started with fresh oysters, warm bread, and the scallop ceviche, which was incredibly fresh and vibrant. For the mains, the steaks were cooked to perfection, accompanied by rich bone marrow, crispy chips, and a fresh salad. The quality of the produce here is clearly on another level. The drinks program deserves a special mention—their wine connoisseur was absolutely sensational, guiding us through a curated selection of champagne and red wine that paired beautifully with the meal. To top off an already perfect night, the team surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our milestone. The service was faultless - attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. If you’re looking for a venue for a special occasion in Sydney, 6HEAD is unbeatable. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable!
