Reviews
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came here to try a few of their signature Hunan dishes and really enjoyed the meal. * Stir-fried Smoked Bamboo Shoots with Cured Pork (烟笋炒腊肉) – The smoked bamboo shoots had a great chewy texture and paired perfectly with the fragrant cured pork. Very authentic and full of flavour. * Traditional Braised Lamb (古法非遗焖羊肉) – The lamb was tender without being gamey. The rich, savoury broth was comforting, especially on a cold day, and went so well with a bowl of rice. * Stir-fried Pork with Green Peppers (辣椒炒肉) – A classic Hunan dish done well. The pork was juicy, the peppers were fresh and crisp, and the balance of spice was just right. Overall, the food was authentic, generous in portion, and packed with wok hei. Definitely a place I’d come back to when craving Hunan cuisine.
Spicy but taste so good, especially chilli pork, best to eat with rice
Finally tried this popular Hunan restaurant in Eastwood after walking past it so many times—it definitely lived up to the hype. Authentic home-style Hunan dishes, great wok hei, and the kind of meal that makes you happily finish bowl after bowl of rice.
Loved the chilli pork with rice, savoury braised pork, crispy green beans, and spicy liver – none were greasy. Calm, fresh decor. Taste is personal, so don’t let others decide for you.
If you’re looking for authentic Hunan cuisine, this is the place! The flavors are incredibly bold and authentic—just like what you’d find in Changsha
