The food was great, except for the cod tortellini. I mentioned it to the waitress, but unfortunately nothing was done about it. It was simply rubbery and didn’t taste good, although it looked beautiful—especially in photos, making it very Instagram-worthy! Otherwise, everything else was perfect, especially the excellent service from Veronica and the delicious tiramisu. As a regular customer at Crown restaurants, I was expecting at least a refund or an offer of an alternative meal given the issue with the tortellini. The coffee was also almost perfect.
We celebrated our engagement at a’Mare and it was honestly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so special and looked after. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the night even more meaningful for us. The food was outstanding. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented, especially the pasta and seafood. You can really tell the quality and attention to detail is next level. The atmosphere was perfect for such an important occasion—elegant, romantic, and just the right vibe. Everything came together to create a night we’ll always remember. Thank you to the entire team at a’Mare for making our engagement so special. Highly, highly recommend!
We ladies had a wonderful experience at A'mare. We had it booked for a birthday celebration, and I am glad we did it here! The food was excellent, seasoned well, and cooked on point. Everyone enjoyed the dinner and was really having a great time. Some of our unexpected favourites were the brocollini, as you could get that hint of charred flavour with the fava pureè; the buffalo mozarella was the crowd favourite as the balance between the tangy tomatoes, sweet nectarine, and the creaminess from the mozzarella. I would absolutely recommend it and would like to try it again but this time with the foccacia. We also tried the wagyu steak, their prawn risotto, crab pasta, and everything was absolutely good. I would recommend a'mare for special occasions, dinner dates and such.
Fabulous birthday lunch at a’Mare in Crown Sydney. Thank you to Beatrice for looking after us. a’Mare also has a special for February - 1/2 price for full sized serving of lobster and pasta. The lobster was very juicy and delicious. The pasta was just right with a great sauce pairing. Our fish crudo platter and oysters & scallops were fresh and tasty. You must end your meal with tableside serving of their tiramisu. Great views and great food for a special occasion.
