Went here to celebrate our monthsary with my partner and we loved the experience. The place has a very cozy atmosphere. Casual yet classy. The food is incredible, portions are decent for sharing. Their ube float is a-must! Ps. Thank you for the free tequilla shots! 😍
Had a great experience at Hustlers! I took my mum out for an early Mother's day dinner. The food was great especially the salmon ceviche, miso corn, mushroom pate (my mum couldn't get over how much flavour was packed into it!) and the steak which was so tender, honestly the best steak I've had in a while. The cocktails were lovely too, especially the earl grey lychee one. Sopran, Jackie, Ryan and Marrissa were so helpful and attentive. They truly made our night even better. The traffic getting there was quite hectic due to it being the mother's day weekend which resulted in us being late to our reservation. The team was very accomodating despite how busy they were. They made sure our food was brought out quickly but never made us feel rushed they even allowed us to move tables when our allocated time was up so that we could continue to enjoy our night there. The team was very friendly and even gave us free tequila shots at the end of the night. Will definitely be back again to try the new Winter menu!
Wow! What a find for an awesome lunch in Sydney, near Grace Hotel. I ordered two entree dishes because they were highly recommended on Trip Adviser: Salmon Ceviche & Prawn Toast. Best raw fish I have ever had (& I love raw fish, so order it when I see it on the menu). Small cubes of fresh salmon (so sweet), red onion & cucumber (giving a satisfying crunch), halved small berry tomatoes with red veined sorrel leaves & a crumb (I can’t identify) on the top. The sauce is coconut cream, with a tangy nuon mam (giving a gentle spicy kick) & drops of shallot oil. The Prawn Toast was a combination of delicate flavours. Deep fried baguette bread, topped with a prawn mayo mix, toasted white & black sesame seeds, garlic mayo & salmon roe. An interesting taste of sweet, sour & crunchy. Absolutely superb food and EXCELLENT customer service. The atmosphere & decor is amazing with lots of bamboo thin rods interwoven in metal casings. The waiter told me that it represents the shape of a dragon. Once he said that, I could see it. Wish I had eaten here last night as my Prawn Fettuccine at a nearby Italian restaurant was disappointing - now realise that restaurant is part of a restaurant chain with flavours equivalent to Fasta Pasta - barely Italian.
We started with the Korean linguine and prawn toast and both were amazing. The prawn toast was easily the best I’ve ever had and something I would come back just for. We also tried all three mocktails and they might be the best mocktails I’ve had in Sydney. They didn’t taste like straight soda or overly sweet passionfruit juice. You could tell they were carefully mixed and they were genuinely delicious. Our waiter was fantastic. He overheard us mention it was our first time and surprised us with a round of complimentary drinks, which was such a lovely touch. He was also very attentive throughout the night and kept the service flowing smoothly. For mains we had the bone marrow garlic fried rice and the lamb kaldereta. The fried rice was incredible and the bone marrow was amazing. The only dish that disappointed me was the kaldereta as the lamb was quite salty and the sauce tasted more like pumpkin than tomato. Overall the atmosphere and ambience made it a great experience and I would happily come back to try the wagyu tartare and of course order the prawn toast again and bone marrow fried rice again.
