Reviews
We stayed in the riverfront cabins for two weeks - great views and beautiful location. Cabins are well equipped with BBQ, cooking accessories, plates, etc. Basic cleaning stuff supplied (cloths, mop, etc.). Staff were polite. Grounds and landscaping are very well kept. Car parking easy and visitor parking is also very close. The cabins are only serviced once per week - which is not suitable as you need towels changed at least every 3-4 days, plus floors need to be cleaned, etc. Some minor maintenance issues (windows and door rails dirty, so you cannot slide them open/closed smoothly - the screen door kept coming off the rails). The park washing machines had issues as well. Overall, it is a very nice place in a great location - just need to pay more attention to preventative maintenance. Highly recommend the riverfront cabins!
Location is great - we have stayed many times. The park is very nice with big, flat caravan sites. This time though, since it changed management, was a disaster for us. The Reservations team are hopeless. They are not onsite, they don’t know the park, and they are very unhelpful. They completely mucked up our group booking we had made 6mths prior. Thank goodness for the wonderful girl on reception when we got there who managed to juggle things around and at least found us sites together again, even though we were not where we wanted to be. AND check in times used to be 11am (pretty standard for caravan sites anywhere) but here it is now 2pm so you kinda lose half a day. Unfair when check out times are still 10am. Please change that back.
A great spot with a beautiful campsite. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a lovely first impression. We especially enjoyed the cockatoos around our site, and the peaceful, respectful atmosphere made our stay even better. Coming back definitely!
While most aspects of our stay were acceptable, we are extremely dissatisfied and concerned about a serious safety incident that occurred during our visit. A group of young individuals, clearly not registered guests, entered the campsite on electric bikes at high speed. They recklessly rode through the area, attempted to throw objects at us, verbally abused us, and even tried to physically attack one of our friends. This behavior is dangerous, aggressive, and completely unacceptable. It is evident that there is a major failure in site management and security. Unauthorized individuals are able to enter the campsite freely, putting paying guests at risk. This is particularly alarming given that many families staying here have young children aged 3–10. Incidents like this create a highly unsafe environment and are simply intolerable. We paid for a safe and enjoyable holiday experience. Instead, our stay was disrupted and put at risk by individuals who should never have had access to the premises in the first place. We expect immediate and concrete action to be taken, including stricter access control, increased security presence, and measures to prevent unauthorized entry. If this matter is not addressed promptly and seriously, we will have no hesitation in escalating this complaint further through formal channels and public platforms.
