We came for dinner with family. I like this traditional warm environment with the light music. The food tastes great. Very suitable for a family to enjoy the time here. Nice and friendly staff👍
Had a delightful bistro dinner here. We were well looked after by Josh, who provided an excellent recommendation on both a fabulous Sunday roast and the accompanying wine. Planning to go back.
We only ate in the restaurant, we didn’t stay in the hotel. We were a table of seven and all ordered something different from the menu, including dessert. The meals were generous portions, really fresh ingredients, and everybody was very happy with what they ordered. Delicious! The dessert specials were a particular hit! Our main positive comment is directed at the really lovely staff. Wonderful service, really friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu options and other local area questions we asked them. Thank you so much! We’ll be back.
Very good value. Excellent service and clean comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms, kitchen and toilet. Easy to find and check in. Room has TV and aircon and basic tea/coffee making equipment. For me the bed was comfortable with good clean sheets. There is a common kitchen. This is well equipped and clean. There is even a washing machine that can be used for free. Shops and buses to city and Chatswood right outside. Will definitely stay again.
Honestly, don’t be put off by some of the sad and negative reviews. Their rooms aren’t the newest, as this is an older hotel, but it’s a decent place to stay, beds are comfortable and hospitality is exceptional !!!! If something is not quite right speak to the friendly staff and they more than willing to accommodate, the whole team are friendly, they have made my stay more than enjoyable, if you’re wanting a five star experience go to a five star hotel and pay five star price, really good value for what you pay, there’s some complaints about no coffee machine in the room but no worries there are cafes just across the road, I seen a review that complaints about air conditioning not working b.s, I have had 3 different rooms for my family and in every room the air-conditioning has been working, I travelled from New Zealand and they have made my holiday really enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team at Bridgeview Hotel from me and my family if I come to Sydney for another holiday, I’ll definitely be coming back to BRIDGEVIEW HOTEL!!!!!
