I've been coming here for over 20 years. It's a fine fine bar. The crowd is more mature. Foods are fantastic with an Asian twist. Plenty of space to sit and watch sports. Good live music, good DJs. It's got it all
Cool little CBD hotel next to the bar for staying a night in the city. Amenities were satisfactory. Room service food was excellent quality and the most memorable thing about this place for me - provided by Mr Wong Cantonese restaurant colocated in the Establishment building.
The weekday lunch is amazing. Not the location you would think would offer good quality Asian food at somewhat reasonable prices. Highly recommend 👌
Stayed three night in an unquestionably posh room, though there was no view. I was a bit underwhelmed, given the price. Terribly clever light switches require a degree in lateral thinking to operate. The bath opened up into the bedroom, which is trending apparently, and had a single spout at the edge of the bath side, meaning that if you sampled the water temperature you inevitably sprayed water over the bedroom carpet. Two of the three bars bang out music to stop you being able to communicate and the other one was closed for a function, though empty at 9 pm. Breakfast relied on the same people who ran reception, so was slow, though they refunded us.
