Stopped by on my way to the footy, beers were ice cold and the whole vibe of the place was awesome. A mix of the locals from all ages and walks of life. The blonde girl at the bar was super friendly and was in a fantastic mood, she assured me the schnitzel was elite and although hesitant at first i took her recommendation and was nit disappointed. The only thing to fault was the mash was under seasoned and a lil lumpy but i was so happy with the whole experience. Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend it for anyone in the area. Outdoor area was getting some updates so maybe next visit works will be complete.

Pretty good for pub food and reasonably priced. Plenty of seating area and they have a cheap daily special for $18.

Went here for dinner for the first time last night. I was expecting daggy, but was pleasantly surprised to find it smart, clean and modern while maintaining it's 1940s style. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for diners, so you can easily avoid the ubiquitous betting area. There are plenty of big screens for watching sport. There are two fairly bland menus - standard pub classics and Asian. Vegetarians will be disappointed as there are only two options, both on the Asian menu, but nice enough. My partner had the Kung Pao Chicken, which she was unable to finish as it was too salty.

Staff/reception were super friendly, hallways feel a bit creepy at night when the lights are off. Toilets/bathrooms are shared so best to keep that in mind. Since I was staying by myself, I found the rooms were fine and there was air conditioning but definitely looks smaller than what is shown online. Bed was incredibly comfortable, BUT a cockroach crawled into the sheets of my bed which was quite scary but the hotel staff were super friendly to offer me a new room at 2 am once I told them about the roach. Location is also great as it is close to train station. Would recommend if you are travelling solo on a budget.

We have stayed here several times now. I love the convenience of the location to Accor Stadium. The rooms are simple, as expected, for pub accommodation. The beds are comfy and cosy. The shared bathrooms are styled beautifully and have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. The pub food for lunch and dinner is delicious and the fact you get a discount on the meals as a guest of the hotel is great. The staff are friendly. We will definitely stay again.
