The room was a great size for a multi day stay. The kitchenette was great and the view of Hyde Park was incredible! The location was great and the staff was very nice. The only issue was parking, the on site garage was incredibly small and wasn't available for 3 of the 4 days we were there. They did have an alternative, it's a parking garage 2 blocks away, maybe a 5 minute walk, where the comp the charge. The issue with this for me was that the garage was full on a Saturday night and I drove all the way to the top and back down only to have to leave the garage due to it being full. I went to the hotel garage and had to negotiate with them to let me park in the garage since the garage 2 blocks away was full. In the end the whole thing worked out and I double parked in the garage for a while and them moved to the external garage later in the night. Parking aside, the rooms are not modern but they are clean and worked great for us while we were in Sydney.

Where do I start? Booking was easy, and we reserved a Deluxe Family Room. We also booked a car park and were advised that our vehicle needed to be no higher than 1.9m. Upon arrival, we entered the car park, but it was very difficult to hear the staff member through the intercom. We had to ask several times for them to repeat themselves. Once inside, we discovered that the allocated parking space was extremely narrow. We were parked almost on the line and spent considerable time trying to position the car so that another vehicle could park beside us and allow everyone to get in and out comfortably. (Which was unsuccessful) We then checked in. Unfortunately, the reception staff were very unfriendly. Throughout our stay, there was no greeting, smile, or acknowledgment when entering or leaving the hotel. When we asked for directions or assistance, it felt as though we were inconveniencing them. Upon entering our room, the first thing we looked for was information about the hotel and its facilities. There was none. Instead, we were greeted with a notice warning that if we cooked and set off the smoke alarm, we could be charged $1,800. The kitchenette was one of the main reasons we booked this room. We had planned to cook dinner to save money and spend more time enjoying Sydney. Seeing such a warning immediately made us feel uncomfortable about using the facilities we had paid for. The bedding was also disappointing. The linen had noticeable yellow stains, and the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The bathroom was another letdown. Water pressure was poor, and the exhaust fan was far too small to be effective. Steam would build up quickly, causing condensation to run down the walls and leaving towels and clothes damp. The hotel description and photos advertise a restaurant and laundry facilities. However, the restaurant is a separate business and not truly part of the hotel, despite there being internal access. As for the laundry, there was only one dryer available for guests across 14 floors, which is simply inadequate. Overall, we would not recommend this hotel unless you are a single traveller looking for a quick overnight stay. For families or anyone planning a longer visit, there are far better options available.

Visiting Sydney for a weekend. Location is great (close to everything). Room was spacious with a small balcony (with a sliding door) and kitchenette. The room was on level 7 and overlooked Hyde Park. It was clean and quiet. The front desk staff were very helpful and polite. Parking is tight although if you have a larger vehicle ask for space D6 - it looked the biggest compared to the rest. The breakfast is very basic but you are only minutes away from several excellent cafes. This was a great value proposition: a good room including parking in the Sydney CBD for a very reasonable rate.

A very convenient location with a comfortable room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast certainly prepares one for the day ahead. An ideal place to stay in Sydney. Thank you.
