Reviews
Overall great hotel. Gym, Cofee, water at disposal. Beautiful terrace too. Very cozy. Staff Is great. Rooms are small, but fine. The bad rate? The bed Is One of the worst bed i have Ever slept. Soft, squishy, uncomfortable, sink under the Wright (80 kg me, 55 kg my wife). Soggy. Awkward. We told the staff, they try to rotate the bed but really nothing changed. Unfortunately they also have not a harder topper to put. Please change your Beds: your hotel Is great apart from this
I genuinely have no words to thank this amazing hotel enough especially Becky who works at reception of the hotel. I had a terrible accident whilst on holiday and had to get home earlier. Becky was incredibly understanding, provided me with ice for my injury and was kind enough to refund me for the remainder of my stay that I needed to cancel. This was so generous. I was sad to leave because the hotel itself is beautiful. You get lovely luxuries for a great price. Location was absolutely amazing as well. The service of the hotel staff whilst I was there was just impeccable. My favourite being the fact they kindly deliver uber eats up to your room which being injured was just amazing for me. I will 1000% be back to stay here on my next visit to Sydney one day. Thank you again Becky and the little national hotel!
The location is unbeatable: a subway station directly connected to the airport is in the underground of the same building of the hotel, whis is at the center of the CBD and within walking distance of the Ferries, the Opera House and much more. The hotel is modern and sleek, its highlight is the very comfortable lounge at the 11th floor with complimentary espresso machine (with anything free from espresso to cappuccino), water station (hot, cold, sparkling) and printer. The rooms are small (our bed was only accessible from one side, the other three attached to the walls) but for the rest well equipped and organized. The staff was nice and collaborative, albeit somewhat slow (the water station was broken for three out of the 4 days that we stayed in the hotel, they took a couple of hours to refill the printer after I asked them).
Great hotel with excellent staff and a very convenient location, right next to a train station which makes getting around really easy. Rooms are on the small side, but they’re modern, clean, and perfectly fine if you’re just using the space to sleep. The hotel bar was a real vibe and a nice spot to relax and unwind after a day out. Parking isn’t on-site and is a bit of a walk, so it’s not ideal, especially with luggage. However, the location more than makes up for it. Overall, a great option for a short city stay with comfort, convenience, and great service. Would definitely stay again.
Modern Comfort in a Prime Location The location of Little National Sydney is absolutely fantastic. Being situated right next to Wynyard Station made getting around effortless, and having a direct train from the airport is a huge plus for any traveler. If you are a coffee lover, you’ll be spoiled for choice—there are excellent coffee spots everywhere you turn in the surrounding area. The Room Experience The room itself is lovely and cozy. It has a very well-designed, modern feel that makes it easy to relax in. However, the unique layout does come with a small practical downside: because of the position of the bed, it seems difficult to reach the far side to tuck in the sheets properly. Unfortunately, we noticed some persistent black dust/dirt on the top of our bed area, which was a bit of a letdown for such a nice space. Service & Housekeeping While I truly enjoyed the aesthetic and convenience of the hotel, the service—specifically housekeeping—could use a bit more attention to detail. • Consistency: Unlike most hotels where used cups and tea pots are cleaned daily, ours were consistently left unwashed until the very last day of our stay. • Attention to Detail: Given the "luxury" feel of the brand, I expected a bit more proactive maintenance in the room. Final Thoughts: I love the concept and the location of this hotel, but a little more focus on keeping up the housekeeping standards would make it a perfect stay. It’s a great choice for the location alone, as long as you don't mind a few minor service lapses.
