Reviews
We had a wonderful stay at Peppers The Hills Resort. From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel welcome. The team at reception were friendly and efficient, the restaurant staff were attentive and genuine, and everyone we came across had a smile on their face. A special mention has to go to the housekeeping team. They did an outstanding job throughout our stay, keeping the room spotless and making sure everything was well presented each day. It's often the little things that make a stay memorable, and their attention to detail certainly didn't go unnoticed. Our room was also a highlight. We overlooked the pool, and despite it being winter, the view was beautiful. The trees with their vibrant red leaves just beginning to fall, combined with the lush greenery climbing the opposite side of the building, created such a peaceful and relaxing outlook. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with great service, comfortable accommodation, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd happily stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Peppers The Hills Resort to anyone visiting the area.
The team at the hotel were very nice and can’t be faulted We were frustrated that the tv was constantly glitching and trying to connect to the chrome cast which wouldn’t work. When we troubleshooted, we noticed that network had been turned off from the TV settings, so this was a conscious decision by the hotel. We had seen reviews that the tvs didn’t work, but assumed that this would have obviously been addressed and fixed We have a 1 year old, so we had booked a jnr suite to allow us to put her to bed and watch a movie together for our evenings, which we were not able to do. We were also disappointed that our explorer food discount is not available for room service. We had to put our daughter to bed so were not able to eat in the restaurant. I don’t understand what the difference is with having room service vs eating in the restaurant. We normally just order takeout to our room for this reason.
My family (with a young baby) stayed for 2 weeks at the hills lodge, and was extremely satisfied with the service provided by the team. The reception team (Darlene and Jess, for example) were so warm and pleasant to talk to, resolving minor issues in a timely and professional manner. The breakfast team (apologies, only recall Donna by name) were absolutely wonderful as well. Incredibly helpful and friendly with our requests, and definitely going above and beyond when needed. The housekeeping team (who we rarely met) were also great, and every evening we came back to a clean room, which was quite a nice feeling when looking after an infant all day! To reiterate, we had a fantastic experience with the whole Lodge team, including but not limited to the few names we could recall. We will absolutely consider staying here again next time!
Friendly and attentive staff, nice spacious rooms, clean. No elevators from the lobby for different level rooms so be prepared for at least a small flight of stairs. Laundry requires coin operation, and the front desk will exchange if they have coins available. The breakfast buffet has good food but lacks variety. It has the same offerings everyday. Bar/takeaway menu is good as well. Overall I've enjoyed my multiple stays here when working in the area and would return again.
Recently attended a conference at Peppers The Hills Lodge and I was very impressed with the conference facilities, rooms and staff. We were really well looked after by the team and everyone was happy to help or make some changes as needed. The food was excellent and a good variety. Rooms are recently renovated and well appointed in an understated way. 3 EV charges as well is handy.
