I recently visited the The New Brighton Hotel and it absolutely delivered on every level. The location alone is hard to beat—right across from the beach in the heart of Manly, with that relaxed coastal energy you want when you’re out for a good meal or drinks. The venue itself has been done really well. It strikes a great balance between modern and classic pub vibes, with plenty of space whether you’re there for a casual drink, a proper sit-down meal, or a group catch-up. The atmosphere was lively without being over the top, and the crowd felt like a good mix of locals and visitors. Food was a standout—quality well above what you’d expect from a typical pub. Everything came out fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. The menu has enough variety to suit everyone, and you can tell there’s been a real focus on getting the basics right but elevating them. Service was another highlight. Staff were friendly, attentive, and actually seemed to care about the experience, which makes a big difference. No long waits, no confusion—just smooth, professional service throughout. Overall, this is exactly what you want in a Manly venue: great food, strong atmosphere, top location, and solid service. Definitely one I’ll be coming back to and recommending.

Caught the Ferry over to checkout Manly Beach, stopped in for a couple of pints on the balcony at the New Brighton Hotel. Cold beer and a perfect little spot to sit & watch the world go by.

So this place is doing it all right. Well trained and attentive staff. Cold beer, great menu and plenty of screens to watch sport. Nice little TAB area as well if you’re a punter. Will be back here for sure.

It was raining 🌧 when we visited. We took a table on the terrace which has a glass cover so we were still able to enjoy the outside air and the view to the Manly sea. Watching the rainy Manly was a lovely experience. We had a chill time and good chat thanks to the New Brighton's lovely terrace area. They have pool tables too, so you can have a good fun doing some angular sports! 😁
