A reliable choice for a late night or early morning meal (perfect for after a flight). Its location by the quay, means you can get some photos of the bridge and opera house beforehand. The venue has a diner vibe, and at 12-1am the venue remained lively. Ordering is straightforward, either at the counter or via QR and the food was impressively fresh and flavourful (the toastie was perfection). A convenient and well‑run spot when you need a quality meal at an unusual hour.
Their sign for mulled wine caught my attention while I was strolling the harbor. They don’t do take away mulled wine, probably because it’s alcoholic. I had to get a table. The mulled wine $18 was so good. I highly recommend it! (and it meets the $2 minimum charge per person) The boozy hot chocolate $18 was really good too. It was perfect on a winter day. Spaghetti w prawns and rocket $39 - ah, too much oil and not enough chili. Unfortunate. I can’t recommend this. Fish n chips $37 - good ol fish n chips. I recommend it, not bad. Scones $11 - By the time the scones were served, they got cold! They got rock hard, and I couldn’t finish them. -outdoor and indoor seating available -WiFi requires password -toilets inside -across from the wharf, good for people watching
Good 24-hour diner for food and snacks. Majority of the mains involve either burgers, steaks, pastas or all-day breakfast menu. Lots of internal seating along with seating upstairs. Usually no booking is required if you’re a group of of 4 or less. Only minor caveats being that the mains and most menu items are around $30-45. But then again thanks to inflation it’s not ‘too bad’ I suppose in 2026. The spaghetti bolognese I ordered came out extremely fast. Perhaps in just 5 minutes after I ordered it. There also happy hour from 4-6pm for $10 spirits (that does also include midori, kahlua, rum, etc.).
The food was a bit on the pricey side, but it was right in front of a beautiful harbour view. The food tastes really good, tried the chicken parmi (OG), and the lasagne, and finished it off with a nice, warm and delicious brownie with icecream.
My partner made a dinner reservation for me. The seafood mornay crepe was absolutely delicious. The white sauce inside had a mild cheese that really enhanced the flavor of the seafood. The pumpkin soup was also tasty, and the accompanying bread was smooth and slightly sweet. It happened to coincide with the Vivid Sydney Night Festival, so we were able to watch the fireworks from our window seat. The staff provided cheerful service.
